Snow Brand Milk Products, the predecessor of MEGMILK SNOW BRAND, was established as the Hokkaido Cooperative Creamery Association in 1925. The company began as a butter manufacturer, while today MEGMILK SNOW BRAND produces a diverse range of dairy products including cheese, yogurt, and more.
Our corporate logo is the "Snow Milk Crown" which symbolizes a fusion of a crystalline snow flake and a milk crown, which is a representation of the MEGMILK SNOW BRAND's resolve.
We have concluded a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Hokkaido, which is where our company was originally founded. We are contributing to the stimulation of Hokkaido's economy in a variety of fields focusing on "food", which we do through the revitalization of the dairy industry, and by utilizing the technology and knowledge our company has developed through dairy product manufacturing.
Comprehensive cooperation agreement with the Hokkaido Prefectural Government
Snow Brand Milk Products, Snow Brand Seed, and Snowbrand-Parlor concluded a comprehensive cooperation agreement with the Hokkaido Prefectural Government in October 2007, through which we have worked to contribute to the stimulation of Hokkaido`s economy, where our company was founded, in a variety of fields focusing on "food" by contributing to the revitalization of the dairy industry, and by utilizing the technology and knowledge our company has developed through dairy product manufacturing. In addition, with the business merger of Snow Brand Milk Products and the Nippon Milk Community in October of 2009, MEGMILK SNOW BRAND has inherited and worked to strengthen this cooperation with Hokkaido.

Flower bed in front of the Former Hokkaido Government Office
The Former Hokkaido Government Office is one of Hokkaido's leading tourist and photo spots which attracts approximately 400,000 people annually. As a part of the comprehensive cooperation agreement activity, an event was held in July of 2013 with kindergarteners from Sapporo City (approximately 90 children) to create a flower bed symbolizing Hokkaido in order to promote "flower tourism" and establish the Hokkaido flower brand globally.
